A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its team in Bishopton. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a well-established site, carrying out a varied mix of planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.

The Role

As The Electrical Engineer, You'll

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment across site.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests and electrical breakdowns.
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently to minimise downtime.
  • Perform electrical inspections, testing, and ensure compliance with current regulations.
  • Work closely with the wider engineering team to maintain high service standards.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures and health & safety requirements.

You

To be successful in the role of Electrical Engineer, you'll bring:

  • Previous experience within electrical maintenance, building services, or industrial engineering.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on electrical systems.
  • Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
  • A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (such as City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent) are advantageous. An 18th Edition qualification is desirable.
