Electrical Design Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for Electrical design.

Single Line Diagrams, Load Schedules, System Architectures, Block Cable Diagrams, Instrument Schedules, Data sheets, MCC specifications, Electrical Install Specifications, Package plant and Generator Specifications

Responsibilities

  • Part of multi-discipline design team
  • Work with the DNO, Metering, Telemetry, Operations, Senior Electrical Engineer
  • Electrical & ICA site surveys
  • Reviewing tier 2 design deliverables that included GAs, Schematics, Reports, Terminations, cable calcs and selectivity studies
  • Attending FATs
  • Working closely with the construction team, procurement, programmers and the project technical manager

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or demonstratable experience at working in a design teams and producing the deliverables discussed
  • Strong problem solving, technical, math and science skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
