CBRE Global Workplace Solutions

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting for a Electrical Engineer.

We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer

to join a Facilities Management contract covering a portfolio of four sites across Rugby. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer looking for a varied position within a commercial building services environment, supporting both planned and reactive maintenance activities.

The successful candidate will join an established engineering team and play a key role in ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient operation of the buildings. The role would suit an engineer with strong electrical qualifications, a Facilities Management background and proven experience delivering Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes.

What You’ll Do

  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) across electrical and building services systems.
  • Diagnose faults and undertake reactive maintenance repairs.
  • Complete electrical installation, testing and repair works.
  • Support equipment moves, workplace reconfigurations and site improvement projects.
  • Safely isolate, disconnect, reconnect and commission electrical systems associated with equipment relocations.
  • Assist with minor mechanical, building fabric and general facilities maintenance activities where required.
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks across the site portfolio.
  • Perform reactive maintenance and fault-finding activities on electrical systems.
  • Complete sprinkler testing and other statutory compliance inspections.
  • Undertake general building services maintenance duties.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with health and safety procedures.
  • Accurately record maintenance activities and compliance checks.
  • Support the wider engineering team in delivering contract KPIs and service standards.
  • Participate in the on-call rota and attend emergency call-outs when required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
