Your Role

As an Electrical Engineer - A&D, reporting to a Senior Electrical Engineer, as an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of our Core electrical group for project-based activities. This role will involve collaborating with the Edwards business departments to design electrical systems for abatement products and other electrical needs.

You Will

  • Design, develop and maintain modules/sub-assemblies for current/new/customised products in accordance with Edwards’ Product Commercialisation Process and Engineering Change Process
  • Meet the Engineering Specification targets with any design created or updated
  • Design and development of sub-assemblies of a product ensuring the specified quality and cost are achieved to the agreed project time scale
  • Creation of detailed documentation of the design (models, drawings, design data, Bill of Material, test data, calculations) ensuring all relevant information is recorded in a timely manner
  • Provide electrical support for other functions in the company when required
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams relating to project requirements
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of engineering processes and methodologies
  • Participate/contribute in design reviews, project meetings, and technical discussions
  • Enhance own learning and knowledge by attending training programs/e-Learning
  • Align and achieve VC goals as per business requirement for the year

To Succeed, You Will Need

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or other relevant electrical engineering qualifications/experience (with 2+ years industry design experience) – Essential.
  • Hands-on experience in design and development of schematics, cable assemblies, BoM creation, part selection - Essential
  • Working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment – Essential
  • Experience using electrical CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, and/or other drafting tools) – Essential
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Essential
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to cross-functional projects - Essential
