Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Cambridge. The Electrical Engineer will design, develop, and test electrical components and systems used in medical devices and AI-enabled products.

Responsibilities

  • Creating schematics
  • Selecting components
  • Performing simulations
  • Supporting prototype development and validation
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as mechanical engineering, software, data science, and quality to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant products
  • Troubleshooting issues
  • Optimizing power and signal performance
  • Contributing to documentation for regulatory and manufacturing purposes

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity principles
  • Experience in Electrical Design and circuit development
  • Knowledge of Power Systems and Power Distribution
  • Experience with medical devices, embedded systems, and low-power electronics is beneficial
  • Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and validation testing is advantageous
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field is preferred
  • Ability to work on-site in Cambridge, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
