Electrical Engineer (Commercial / Renewables)

Cambridge

£40,000 - £50,000 + Training + Progression + Overtime + Company Van + Local Patch + Optional Call Out Rota

Are you an electrical engineer looking to upskill into commercial and renewable projects specialising in a wide range of services that are offering extensive training programmes and real progression into a lead role within 18 months?

This is a great opportunity to join a growing, multi-disciplinary property services provider delivering a complete range of maintenance, compliance, installation and facilities management solutions across residential, commercial environments.

In this role you will work autonomously or part of a team for bigger projects. It will vary from basic PAT testing to rewiring's to completing solar installs with the commercial and residential industry. You will be responsible for electrical installations, maintenance and reactive repairs, fault finding and diagnostics all while working closely with the Electrical team lead and other departments.

This role would suit an electrical engineer holding your 2391 inspection and 18th edition qualifications looking to join a company offering a local Cambridge patch and real progression to Lead after 18 months.

The Role:

  • Electrical installations, maintenance and reactive repairs
  • Specialist commercial and renewables training and anything else to get you up to speed
  • PAT testing, fault finding and diagnostics
  • Monday - Friday (8am-5pm) within a 45-minute Cambridge patch
  • Optional overtime at 1.5x and call out rota

The Person:

  • Electrical Engineer holding their 2391 and 18th qualifications
  • Willing to commute to sites within 45 minutes of Cambridge
