About the Company

Timberwise is a family run specialist construction business located throughout England, Scotland and Wales that has been trading for over 50 years and is a founding member of the PCA. The company aspires to improve people's lives through a range of property preservation services from basement waterproofing to timber treatments.

Due to our growing business, we are looking to expand our team in the Midlands and surrounding areas; there will be a need to travel throughout the region.

Role Overview

As an Electrical Engineer, your role will include:

  • Installation of Extractor fans, PIV, PPS, HRU systems
  • Domestic Ventilation
  • Social Housing
  • Installation and Maintenance

Requirements

Successful Applicants in the Midlands area will have:

  • Level 3 Electrical Installation/NVQ
  • 18th Edition
  • Good domestic trade skills
  • 2391 is advantageous rather than essential
  • Core-drilling ability
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to plan and manage their own workload.
  • A team player and Self-starter, with strong communication skills
  • Develop and maintain a Personal Development Plan as part of Continuous Professional Development
  • Take reasonable care of the Health and Safety of yourself and that of any other person who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work.
  • Ensure as far as is necessary, that Statutory Requirements, Codes of Practice, Policies and Procedures, and Health and Safety arrangements are complied with.
  • Demonstrate and uphold the Company’s values, of honesty, integrity, reliability, and teamwork
  • To promote and embed these values in all elements of work and in interactions with colleagues, customers, visitors, and others.

Hours of Work

Hours of work are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with occasional out of hours and weekend work, for which overtime is paid.
