Forza is the leading UK manufacturer of bespoke timber doors and other timber products. With revenue of over £38m our vision is to continue to deliver double digit revenue and profit growth. We are at an exciting stage of the company’s evolution and now is a great time to join the business to help deliver on our growth aspirations. We have a strong business culture that values our team as being the heart of our success.

About the Role

You will play a key role in safeguarding the smooth and efficient running of the factory by carrying out safe, high-quality electrical maintenance and fault-finding across plant, machinery and control systems. You complete both planned and reactive maintenance to keep equipment safe, compliant and reliable, helping to reduce downtime and support continuous improvement across site. Working across Forza operational sites, you provide competent electrical engineering support and work closely with the Maintenance Manager to deliver site priorities and projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with the maintenance schedule for electrical systems, plant and machinery.
  • Respond to breakdowns, diagnose electrical/control faults and restore equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor the operation of plant, machinery and electrical systems and carry out servicing and repairs as required.
  • Support continual review of equipment performance to minimise disruption to the manufacturing schedule.
  • Support compliance and statutory inspection activity for electrical systems, ensuring remedial actions and documentation are completed.
  • Support effective spares management by identifying required electrical replacement components and ensuring availability where appropriate.
  • Support and coordinate subcontractors for plant, machinery and site electrical works when required (including cover in the absence of the Maintenance Manager).
  • Complete establishment/project work, including site expansion, re-organisation and ongoing repairs, and ensure tasks are completed and logged.
  • Work alongside the Maintenance Manager on breakdowns and planned maintenance projects as required.
  • Maintain maintenance records and the electrical stores/parts area to required standards.
  • Undertake other reasonable tasks as directed by the business (e.g., MD/Production Management).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
