Evolve Partners is recruiting an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the delivery team on a major data centre project in Central London.
This is a site-based position for an engineer who is comfortable being close to the build, taking ownership of electrical packages and working through the practical challenges that come with delivering a large, technically demanding project.
You’ll be joining an established project team delivering a substantial electrical package within a high-profile mission-critical environment.
The role
You’ll be involved in the day-to-day electrical delivery of the project, working closely with project management, subcontractors, consultants and other disciplines to ensure works are delivered safely, correctly and to programme.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the delivery of major LV/MV electrical packages
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information
- Resolving technical and installation issues as they arise
- Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are progressing to programme
- Working closely with the wider project and commercial teams
- Monitoring quality and ensuring installations meet project requirements
- Supporting testing, commissioning and handover activities
- Maintaining clear communication between site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
