The Role

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for covering all electrical maintenance, both PPM and reactive in a major British Heritage building. Being client facing is key as you will be working with the client on a day-to-day basis.

Typical duties include fault-finding, small installations, control panels, power distribution, lamping, ballast changes, emergency lighting testing/maintenance, AHU & FCU maintenance and much more. You will be expected to log all works performed and will have to do Permits to Work (PTWs) and review RAMS from sub-contractors.

You will also cover all High Voltage (HV) & Low Voltage (LV) works across the site once you have been trained in both. A lot of the HV & LV work is out of hours so if you like overtime this role is for you. The HV/LV PPM is only a small commitment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
