Electrical Engineer (Progression to Estimator)

£45,000 - £50,000 + Flexitime + Progression + Training + Private Medical + Office Based

Belfast

Are you an Electrical Engineer from a renewables background with Solar PV experience, looking to come off the tools and join a rapidly growing, well-established company that will value your development through tailored in-house training and progression to become a fully-fledged Estimator?

On offer is an exciting opportunity to kick start your career as an Estimator and work on bespoke renewable projects for a range of high-profile clients all over the UK.

In this office-based role you will be responsible for the costing and pricing of large-scale residential and commercial Solar PV projects. You will take tenders and enquiries from customers and liaise closely with the design and installation teams to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget. You will receive full in-house training on Estimating but prior Solar PV knowledge is essential.

This well-established Renewables company work with a broad range of clients across the UK and Ireland. They have seen major growth since their establishment in 2008 and continue to build a loyal client base with an ever-increasing workload.

This role would suit an Electrical Engineer with Solar PV experience looking to take the next step in their career and become an Estimator, within a company that will value their development with further progression to senior positions.

The Role:

  • Estimating the price of Solar PV projects for commercial and residential projects
  • Take tenders and enquiries from customers and produce costing reports
  • Liaise closely with the design, installation and maintenance teams to ensure projects are completed within time and budget
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Flexible start and finish times available
