Are you an Electrical Building Services Engineer looking to broaden your project experience and accelerate your career within a highly regarded consultancy?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer to join a growing Birmingham team, working across a diverse portfolio of projects within the built environment.
You'll gain exposure to a wide range of sectors while working alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative and supportive environment.
This position would suit someone who enjoys technical design, problem-solving, and working as part of multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative engineering solutions.
The Opportunity
As an Electrical Engineer, you'll be involved in the design and delivery of electrical systems from initial concept through to completion, helping to create high-performing and sustainable buildings.

Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering electrical design packages across a range of projects.
- Producing calculations, specifications, reports, and technical drawings.
- Designing lighting, power, emergency lighting, and associated electrical systems.
- Working closely with mechanical engineers, architects, and specialist consultants.
- Attending meetings with project teams and external stakeholders.
- Carrying out site inspections and reviewing installations.
- Supporting commissioning and project handover activities.
- Assisting in maintaining technical quality and project deadlines.
About You
- Degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
- Building services consultancy experience.
- Understanding of UK building regulations and electrical design standards.
- Experience using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Dialux.
- Strong communication and teamworking skills.
- Ambition to continue developing professionally and work towards Chartership.
