Senior Manager/SAP

South of England - UK sites - Hybrid
Circa £85,000 + company vehicle + bonus

Fourblue are working with a private networks business delivering high-voltage infrastructure projects across the UK within the Renewable Energy, ICP and IDNO sectors. They are now looking to appoint a Senior HV Project Manager (SAP) to take ownership of complex HV projects from planning through to final commissioning.

The Role

You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple high-voltage projects, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient execution at all times. Acting as a Senior Authorised Person, you will also carry out switching operations, fault response, testing and system restoration activities up to 33kV.

Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager/SAP

  • Full lifecycle management of HV projects from planning through to commissioning
  • SAP duties including switching authority up to 33kV
  • Leading fault location, testing, repairs and system restoration activities
  • Managing multiple concurrent projects across UK private network schemes
  • Budget control, forecasting and financial performance management
  • Supporting tendering, planning and project delivery strategy
  • Ensuring full compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements
  • Driving risk management and maintaining strong operational control

Criteria of the Senior Project Manager/SAP

  • Valid SAP (Senior Authorised Person) authorisation with up-to-date switching accreditation (up to 33kV)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in HV project management across multi-project environments
  • Experience within private networks, Renewable Energy, ICP or IDNO sectors (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of HV systems, commissioning and fault response
  • Confident leader with strong communication and decision-making skills
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and forecasting
  • Strong focus on safety, compliance and quality delivery
