Bilfinger UK are looking for a Electrical Estimating Apprentice to join the business. The position is based in our Haydock Production Facility, with day release at Warrington Vale Royal College.

Main Responsibilities
- Covering support and maintenance services specifically for MOJ / HMP client as well as other BUK clients as required
- Individuals need to have good communication skills, both written and verbal, IT skills, number skills, analytical skills, demonstrate attention to detail, logical attitude and be a team player
- Individuals must be able to demonstrate a willingness and passion to develop skills within industry, be hardworking, confident and organised
- The main activities for the role will be to carry out estimating for site installations and attending various sites around the country to carry out surveys, servicing & installation works were necessary. This role will involve a 50:50 split between office-based and site-based work.
- Constantly observe for potential health and safety issues at work
- Liaise with customers about technical side of the maintenance visit / call out or project works as required
- Maintain good relationship with customers’ engineers during the maintenance visit and promote Bilfinger’s brand
- Identify areas of concern on existing equipment and suggest possible solutions and improvements
- Specify parts required for call outs, projects or maintenance
- Support and shadow engineers to ensure you gain a good understanding of service activities
- Follow market development on his/hers area of expertise
- Suggest training courses needed to keep skills up to date
- Keep all security vetting requirements up to date for the clients namely MOJ, NHS, Police services, Nuclear clients etc
- We are looking for pro-active can-do mentality, hands on apprentice and team player who can interact and interface with other team members and as well as clients.

Experience and Qualifications
- GCSE or equivalent (Grade 4 or better) in English Language and Mathematics is essential
- Must be able to obtain SC & CTC clearances
