Location: Wakefield, WF2

Employment Type: Full Time

Working Hours: (Monday to Friday, 40 Hours Per Week with overtime opportunities available)

About The Role…

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Fitter to join our Private Networks Division based in Wakefield.

The role will see you working on numerous client sites maintaining transformers and switchgear and working on projects across the UK.

As an Electrical Fitter you will…

  • Working on HV, LV, Transformers, Switchgear and Associated Equipment.
  • Carrying out service / remedial works on equipment.
  • Able to write up detailed quality reports, daily site reports
  • Carry out electrical testing and fault finding and mechanical modifications and repairs.
  • Experience in routine PPM (planned preventive maintenance) to a manufacturer’s standard.
  • Be proactive in reporting faults, and the ability to test LV protection, and accurate reports of results.
  • Install HV/LV panels and transformers to manufacturers standard

About You…

  • BTEC in Electrical Engineering
  • A thorough understanding of Electrical Power System up to 33kV is key for this role along with operational experience as a HV Electrical Fitter.
  • High standard of work and the ability to work alone but also as part of a team.
  • You will require a full UK driving licence and eligibility for a CTC clearance and DBS check is essential.
