Join one of the UK's leading Control Systems Integrators.

We're looking for an Electrical Installation Engineer to join our growing team, delivering innovative automation and control systems across the UK's water industry. If you enjoy hands-on electrical installation, varied project work and developing your PLC skills, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll work independently on some projects and as part of a wider engineering team on others, giving you plenty of variety and opportunities to develop your skills.

You'll install, commission and support electrical control systems while receiving training to expand your knowledge of PLC programming and controls engineering.

This is a field-based role covering customer sites across the South of England. Most sites are within around three hours of the office, and overnight stays are kept to a minimum (typically less than one night per week). When an overnight stay is required, hotel accommodation is fully provided.

Full-time position 45 hours working week, Monday to Friday

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
