Are you an experienced Electrical Installer looking for your next opportunity?
We are currently recruiting for a skilled and enthusiastic Electrical Installer to join an established company specialising in bespoke vehicle electrical installations and equipment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with electrical installation experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working in a hands-on environment.
Salary
£28,000 - £31,000 per hour, depending on experience.
What you'll be doing
- Installing and routing electrical wiring, cable looms and associated equipment.
- Crimping, terminating and connecting wiring and electrical components.
- Installing and wiring lighting systems, including headlights, beacons, lightbars and auxiliary lighting.
- Installing CCTV cameras and other electrical/operating equipment.
- Following wiring diagrams, drawings and technical specifications to complete installations.
- Testing systems and carrying out electrical fault finding and repairs.
- Using hand and power tools to complete installations.
- Removing and refitting vehicle trim and panels as required.
- Working with the team to ensure projects are completed within agreed timescales.
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.

What we're looking for
- Previous experience in electrical installation or a similar hands-on electrical role.
- Good understanding of electrical wiring, connections and components.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Able to read and follow wiring diagrams, drawings or technical instructions.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable, professional and positive approach to work.
Automotive experience is not essential as full training will be provided.

Working hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 2:00pm
Overtime opportunities are available and paid at an increased rate.
