Overview of the role - Team / Projects / Key challenges
We're looking for experienced Net Zero Electrical Installers to join our growing team and play a key role in supporting the transition towards net zero.
As a Net Zero Electrical Installer, you'll be responsible for installing a range of low-carbon technologies in customers' homes, including:
- Electric Vehicle Chargers
- Solar PV
- Battery Storage
- Heat Pump Controls
- Smart Meters
Every installation is different, so excellent technical knowledge, customer service, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.
You'll receive a full induction into the ways of working, along with a company van, fuel card, tools, PPE, uniform, and mobile technology. Where required, additional training will be provided to support your development into Smart Metering.
There are also excellent opportunities for career progression, with opportunities to develop into specialist and team leader positions.
Additional Information
The role involves periods away from home for classroom-based training and field-based installations. Training and installation locations cannot always be guaranteed to be local to you.
Due to the nature of the role:
- A medical assessment will be required as part of the recruitment process.
- Flexibility to travel and stay away from home will be required when necessary.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
