Maintenance Engineer

Location: Stonehouse

Shift: Day Shift

Salary: Up to GBP 52,000

A great opportunity for a Production Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team, supporting both reactive and planned maintenance while driving improvements across fast-paced food production lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and minimize downtime.
  • Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production and site equipment.
  • Support improvement projects and system upgrades.
  • Identify ways to improve machinery reliability and efficiency.
  • Work closely with production teams to optimize performance.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and assist with site-wide facilities maintenance.

Essential Requirements

  • Multi-skilled engineer.
  • FMCG food production experience.
  • Strong electrical/mechanical fault-finding skills.
  • Strong health and safety focus and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • 18th Edition.
