Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: North London

Salary: Circa £40,000 basic + door-to-door pay

Typical earnings before overtime: Circa £50,000

Vehicle: Company vehicle provided, with personal use allowance

We are currently looking for an experienced Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team, covering commercial sites across North London and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrical engineer looking for a stable, long-term position with strong earning potential, a company vehicle and paid travel time.

You will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance across a range of commercial contracts.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include

  • Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial sites.
  • Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently and professionally.
  • Undertaking routine inspections, testing and remedial works.
  • Responding to reactive maintenance requests and breakdowns.
  • Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
  • Completing maintenance reports and relevant documentation.
  • Working across multiple commercial client sites throughout North London.
  • Ensuring all works are completed safely and in accordance with current regulations and company procedures.

About You

We are looking for an experienced commercial maintenance electrician who is comfortable working independently in a mobile role.

You Should Have

  • Recognised electrical qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent.
  • 18th edition
  • Relevant experience within commercial electrical maintenance.
  • Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • A professional approach when dealing with customers and clients.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • The ability to manage your own workload and work efficiently across multiple sites.
