Our client are seeking an experienced electrician who can work within well-known commercial environments, carrying out all areas of electrical compliance, maintenance, and remedial tasks. Fire alarm service and maintenance works are required for this position.
This is a full time and permanent opportunity, working on a mobile basis on sites across the North East region. Fire alarm training is provided within our onsite training centre to the successful candidate.

We’re Looking For
- Candidate must have achieved the NVQ Level 3 Certificate in electrical installation (City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in electrical Installation).
- City & Guilds 2382 required. 18th Edition desirable
- City & Guilds 2391/ 2394/5, desirable but not essential.
- Good Understanding of Statutory Compliance.
- Good Understanding of BS 5839-1: 2017 desirable.
- Experience in fire alarm addressable / conventional systems desirable.
- Experience in aspirating systems desirable but not essential.
- Experience in door access (standalone or network systems) desirable but not essential.
- Experience on nurse call systems desirable but not essential.
- Experience on a call out rota desirable but not essential.
- Forward thinking pro-active approach.
- Good with technology.
- Be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with internal helpdesk/admin and clients at varying levels.
- Client Customer facing experience.
- Good understanding of electrical certification.
- Experience in using electrical multi-function testers.

- Competitive salary of circa £40K plus depending on experience (including travel time which is paid door to door)
