Maintenance Engineer (Continential Shift)

Salary: £43,441.05 + £3,712.80 Shift Allowance = £47,153
Potential Earnings: Up to £53,359.53 including contractual overtime
Location: Oakham area
Shift Pattern: 4 Days On, 4 Days Off, 4 Nights On, 4 Days Off
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established engineering team supporting a busy manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased, time-served engineer to work within a modern production environment, ensuring the reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide breakdown support across manufacturing machinery, automation equipment and ancillary systems.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in a safe and efficient manner.
- Support continuous improvement activities to enhance equipment performance and manufacturing efficiency.
- Work closely with production and engineering colleagues to achieve operational targets.
- Contribute to improvement projects aimed at increasing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
- Support the development and upskilling of colleagues where appropriate.

About You
- Assist other engineers and departments as required.
- Time-served Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias.
- Ideally multi-skilled with both electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Experience Within a Manufacturing Environment Is Essential.
- Experience of injection moulding machinery would be highly advantageous.
- Strong commitment to safe working practices.

- Starting salary: £43,441.05 per annum
- Shift allowance: £3,712.80 per annum
- Contractual overtime available following successful completion of probation
- Additional £6,205.68 per annum
- 208 contracted overtime hours per year
