Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE + Overtime

Shift Pattern: Rotating weekly shifts - 6:00am-2:00pm / 2:00pm-10:00pm

Holiday: 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)


About the Role

Our client, a leading manufacturer within the heavy industrial sector, is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their established engineering team. Key Responsibilities Include

  • Carrying out electrical maintenance across site facilities and a variety of production equipment.
  • Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM/TPM) schedules while responding quickly to equipment breakdowns.
  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and panel drawings to diagnose faults down to component level.
  • PLC fault finding and interrogation to identify and rectify electrical faults.
  • Assisting with the installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement of new machinery and equipment.
  • Working closely with the wider engineering team to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.

About You

Our client is looking for an engineer who has:

  • Previous electrical maintenance experience within a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • A recognised Electrical qualification (Level 3 or above).
  • Experience fault finding on PLC-controlled equipment, with knowledge of Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen Bradley or Fanuc systems.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required to support business needs.

What's on Offer

  • Salary up to £45,000, depending on experience.
  • Weekly rotating shifts: 6:00am-2:00pm and 2:00pm-10:00pm.
  • Overtime paid at time and one-third during the week and Saturdays, and time and a half on Sundays.
  • 33 days annual leave, including bank holidays.
