Role Description
The Electrical Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. This role oversees electrical systems and equipment across ethanol manufacturing facilities, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The Electrical Manager will collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety teams to support power distribution, optimize electrical design, and maintain compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The role also involves:
- Documenting maintenance activities
- Managing vendors and contractors
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the production site
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electricity and Electrical Engineering, with the ability to apply principles to industrial manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated experience in Electrical Maintenance, including preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment and systems.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design for industrial facilities, including layout, specification, and implementation of electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with Power Distribution systems, including monitoring, fault diagnosis, and optimization of electrical networks.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline; advanced certifications in electrical safety or industrial systems are beneficial.
- Knowledge of relevant UK electrical codes, safety regulations, and standards applicable to industrial and energy sectors.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams, manage contractors, and coordinate cross-functional projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Effective communication and documentation skills, with the ability to report technical findings and recommendations clearly.
- Experience in ethanol, chemical, or process manufacturing industries is an advantage.
