Electrical Manufacturing Engineer (NPI & Improvement)
£40,000 - £43,000 + Progression + Training + 34 Days Holiday + Healthcare + 5% Pension

Are you an Electrical Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer looking for ownership over the full product journey, an abundance of technical variety and a role beyond pure design that allow you to have more responsibility and influence?

In this role you will work within the New Product Introduction team. You will produce 2D electrical schematics and wiring drawings from customer specifications, while creating clear visual assembly instructions and manufacturing documentation to support both skilled Electrical Wirers and production assembly staff. You'll also work to continuously improve the manufacturing process, with the autonomy to make necessary changes and have your ideas heard and implemented.

This company are a strategic manufacturing and outsource partner for machine builders and OEM's. Specialising in automated equipment, they employ over 200 staff and are looking to grow revenue to over £200 million in the next 2 years.
This role would suit an Electrical / Manufacturing Engineer or similar looking for a heavily-involved role where your ideas will be implemented in a position that grants responsibility, autonomy, variety and respect as a technical expert.
The Role:
- Interpreting complex customer designs
- Creating 2D electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Creating visual, Ikea-style, instructions for production assembly style
- Support New Product Introduction
- Helping Project manage Production and Assembly - improving processes
39 Hour week, Monday - Thursday 8am - 5:15pm, Friday 12pm early finish
The Person:
- Manufacturing Engineer, Electrical Engineer or similar
- 2D Electrical CAD knowledge
