Electrical Project Engineer (Commercial / Industrial)

Kendal - Lancashire patch

£50,000 - £60,000 + Training + Progression + Company Vehicle + Bonus + Local Patch + Regular Progression Reviews

Are you an Electrical Project or similar Engineer looking to step into a role with Cumbria's leading M+E services offering a local Cumbria/Lancashire patch and regular progression reviews to further your career?

Do you want to manage and supervise electricians to carry out the requirements of the job?

This well-established leading electrical services supply to the industrial and commercial industries within the northwest. After continuous growth, they are looking for an Electrical Project engineer to join their team of expert engineers.

You will be working on construction sites either on your own or in a large team, where you will be tasked with managing site installation teams, supervisors and subcontractors, including being a point of contact for site queries and commercial queries.

This role would suit an experienced Electrical Project Engineer or Electrical Engineer with a background in industrial or commercial installations, looking to take ownership of projects, lead site teams and progress their career within a growing M+E business.

The Role:

  • Deliver electrical, control and instrumentation projects from quote to completion
  • Manage electricians, site teams and subcontractors
  • Liaise with clients on technical and commercial queries
  • Produce project, safety and electrical documentation
  • Assist with tenders, quotations and material procurement
  • Ensure installations meet BS7671 and safety standards
  • Attend site and client meetings
  • Support and develop the existing workforce

The Person:

  • Electrical Project Engineer or similar
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • BS7671 knowledge and 18th Edition
  • Commutable to Cumbria
