Electrical Project Manager

📍 South Wales

💰 £60,000 + Performance Bonus + Company Vehicle

The Opportunity

An established and growing electrical contractor is looking for an Electrical Project Manager to take ownership of a strong pipeline of projects across South Wales.

This is a role for someone who wants genuine responsibility — managing projects from handover through to completion, while having the autonomy to make decisions, manage clients and drive commercial performance.

The role would suit an experienced Electrical Project Manager, or a Senior Electrician / Electrical Site Manager ready to take the next step into full project management.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Take full ownership of electrical projects from handover to final account
  • Manage programmes, labour, procurement and subcontractors
  • Lead and coordinate site teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently
  • Manage client and main contractor relationships
  • Monitor costs, budgets, forecasting and project performance
  • Run progress meetings and manage project risks
  • Ensure high standards of H&S, quality and technical compliance
  • Oversee commissioning, snagging and final handover
  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery and profitability

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
