The Role
Are you an experienced MEP Project Manager, M&E Project Manager, Mechanical Project Manager, or Electrical Project Manager looking to take ownership of major building services packages?
This is an opportunity to manage the delivery of high-value MEP packages across large-scale industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects, taking responsibility from design coordination and procurement through installation, commissioning, and handover.
You'll join an established engineering and MEP contractor where experienced project professionals are trusted to make decisions, solve problems, and take ownership of delivery.
As MEP Project Manager, you'll take responsibility for the successful delivery of complex mechanical and electrical packages, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and construction teams.
You'll manage the programme, technical delivery, procurement, commercial performance, and site resources while ensuring projects are delivered safely, to specification, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Managing MEP packages from design coordination through installation, commissioning, and handover
- Building strong working relationships with clients and ensuring works are delivered in a professional and controlled manner
- Managing the procurement and ordering of key materials
- Appointing and managing subcontractors and the wider supply chain
- Ensuring works comply with project specifications, drawings, and technical requirements
- Attending client and main contractor design, technical, and progress meetings
- Managing in-house and subcontract labor resources
- Monitoring programme, quality, safety, and overall project performance
- Ensuring works comply with all relevant legal, statutory, and H&S requirements
- Managing contract changes and accurately costing variations
- Preparing and issuing interim valuation claims in line with works completed
- Monitoring project costs and maintaining strong commercial control
- Preparing and presenting monthly contract reports and project KPIs
- Identifying project risks and resolving technical or delivery issues
- Supporting successful testing, commissioning, and project handover

About You
We're looking for an experienced mechanical, electrical, or MEP professional with a strong track record of delivering complex building services packages.
You May Currently Be Working As An
- MEP Project Manager
- MEP Manager
- M&E Project Manager
- Mechanical Project Manager
- Electrical Project Manager
- Building Services Manager
- Senior Mechanical or Electrical Project Manager
You'll Ideally Have
- Proven experience delivering large-value MEP packages
- A strong mechanical, electrical, or wider building services background
- Experience within a main contractor, Tier 1 contractor, or specialist MEP contractor
- Exposure to industrial, commercial, infrastructure, or framework projects
- Experience managing projects through design, procurement, installation, and commissioning
- Strong subcontractor and supply-chain management experience
- Good understanding of construction programmes and project delivery
- Commercial awareness, including experience with variations, valuations, and cost control
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to lead project teams and solve technical and delivery challenges

You don't necessarily need to have spent your entire career managing both mechanical and electrical services. Experienced Mechanical or Electrical Project Managers who have progressed into managing wider MEP packages are encouraged to apply.
The Opportunity
This isn't a role where you'll simply monitor progress and report on what's happening.
You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of major MEP packages, influence how projects are delivered, and work directly with clients, designers, subcontractors, and construction teams.
You'll be joining a business delivering technically challenging engineering projects where quality, safety, programme certainty, and technical excellence genuinely matter.
