Electrical Project Manager – Water Industry (Thames Valley Region)
Salary: Up to £65,000 + package
Location: Thames Valley (covering Thames Water & Southern Water frameworks)
The Opportunity
A leading contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to deliver a portfolio of water industry projects across the Thames Valley region. With long-term secured work on both Thames Water and Southern Water frameworks, this is a chance to step into a role offering stability, autonomy, and progression within one of the most active sectors in UK infrastructure.
You’ll oversee electrical installation, upgrade and refurbishment projects across clean water and wastewater sites, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient delivery from planning through to handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical project delivery across multiple water treatment and pumping sites.
- Lead project planning, resourcing, procurement and subcontractor coordination.
- Ensure compliance with water industry standards, electrical regulations and site safety requirements.
- Oversee installation of LV systems, control panels, instrumentation, MCCs and associated equipment.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, site teams, designers and commercial colleagues.
- Monitor project progress, cost control, risk management and reporting.
- Drive a positive safety culture and ensure all works meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Support continuous improvement and contribute to framework delivery targets.

About You
- Proven experience managing electrical projects within the water industry or similar regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of LV electrical systems, control & instrumentation, MCCs and interfaces.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple live projects.
- Confident communicator able to lead teams and engage effectively with clients.
- Knowledge of CDM, RAMS, permits and water utility processes.
- Electrical qualifications (HNC/HND, NVQ, 18th Edition, etc.) preferred.
