Electrical Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of electrical works on a Thames Water project in Swindon.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be time-served/qualified electrically, with a strong electrical installation and technical background, combined with proven project management experience.

Previous experience working within the water/wastewater industry is essential, ideally on projects involving Thames Water or similar water utility clients.

There will be a requirement to have a site presence 3 days per week so candidates will need to be based within commuting distance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical project delivery from planning through to completion.
  • Oversee electrical installation, commissioning and subcontractor activities.
  • Manage programme, costs, resources, quality and H&S.
  • Liaise with Thames Water, clients, engineers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure works are delivered to specification, programme and relevant standards.
  • Provide strong technical electrical input and resolve site issues.

Key Requirements

  • Time-served/qualified electrician with a strong electrical background.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar.
  • Previous water/wastewater industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installation and commissioning.
  • Understanding of CDM, H&S and quality requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • UK Driving Licence
