Electrical Project Manager

TClarke – Tier 1 MEP Contractor

Central London – Major Commercial Development

TClarke are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major electrical installation package on a large-scale commercial development in London.

This is a long-term opportunity, taking ownership of the electrical package from pre-construction and design development through to installation, commissioning and final handover.

You will manage project delivery, design, programme, procurement, commercial performance and stakeholder relationships, working closely with the client, consultants, main contractor, design teams and delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the electrical package from pre-construction through to completion
  • Manage delivery against programme, budget, quality and H&S objectives
  • Oversee design development, procurement, installation and commissioning
  • Manage design coordination across RIBA Stages 3, 4i, 4ii and 4iii
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and specialist contractors
  • Monitor commercial performance, risks and opportunities
  • Drive programme performance and resolve technical challenges
  • Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Support commissioning, completion and final handover

About You

We are looking for an accomplished Electrical Project Manager with experience delivering £20m+ electrical packages for a recognised Tier 1 MEP or building services contractor.

You should have strong technical, commercial, programme and design management experience, alongside relevant qualifications such as HNC, HND or Degree. SMSTS and CSCS are also required. Commercial development experience is highly advantageous, alongside exposure to sectors including data centres, life sciences, healthcare or major mixed-use developments.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Deliver the electrical package safely, efficiently and in full compliance with project requirements
  • Maintain programme performance and achieve key project milestones
  • Ensure delivery remains aligned with agreed commercial objectives
  • Proactively identify and manage design, technical and delivery risks
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and wider project stakeholders
  • Drive the successful commissioning, completion and handover of the electrical works
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable and high-performing project environment
  • Provide strong leadership across the project team, ensuring clear ownership and effective delivery throughout the project lifecycle
