SUPERVISOR / ELECTRICAL QS

About Dodd Group

Dodd Group has been a family owned business since 1947, with over 75 years of experience delivering high quality mechanical and electrical services across the UK.

We are proud of our reputation for doing things properly, investing in our people, and creating opportunities for individuals to develop and progress. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor / Electrical QS to join our Cambridge regional team, working on key projects based in Lincoln.

The Role

This is a dual role, combining hands on site supervision with Electrical Qualified Supervisor responsibilities. You will play a key part in the successful delivery of electrical works on site, making sure the project is delivered safely, efficiently, to programme, and to the required technical and compliance standards.

As Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing day to day site activities, coordinating labour and subcontractors, supporting the Project Manager, and maintaining strong communication with the client and wider project team.

As Electrical QS, you will support electrical compliance, quality assurance, inspection processes, and technical standards, helping ensure works are completed in line with current regulations and Dodd Group procedures.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
