About Renewafuel

Renewafuel is a growing renewable-energy company specialising in air source heat pumps, Mitsubishi Ecodan, solar PV and battery storage. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (QS) to join our team and take responsibility for the technical standard, safety and compliance of our electrical installation work.

The Role

As Electrical QS, you will:

  • Act as our Qualified Supervisor for our electrical certification scheme.
  • Ensure electrical work meets BS 7671, current regulations and certification requirements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to our electricians and installation teams.
  • Inspect and test electrical installations and review certification.
  • Carry out technical audits and identify any remedial requirements.
  • Maintain electrical compliance and support certification-body assessments.
  • Work alongside our heat pump, solar PV and battery installation teams.
  • Help maintain consistently high standards of workmanship and safety.

This is an important technical role within a growing renewable-energy business, with the opportunity to work across some of the UK's fastest-growing areas of domestic energy technology.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should have:

  • Appropriate Level 3 electrotechnical qualification or recognised equivalent.
  • Current BS 7671 / 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
  • Appropriate Initial Verification qualification.
  • Appropriate Inspection & Testing qualification where required for the scheme scope.
  • Relevant experience taking responsibility for the technical standard of electrical work.
  • Evidence of ongoing electrical CPD.
  • A current ECS card is highly desirable.

For new QS applicants, candidates will need to meet the relevant EAS qualification and experience requirements, including the required evidence of technical responsibility. Previous Qualified Supervisor experience is highly advantageous.

Renewable Energy Experience

Experience with any of the following would be an advantage:

  • Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Mitsubishi Ecodan
  • Solar PV
  • Battery Storage
  • EV charging
  • Domestic electrical installations
  • Inspection and testing
