We are seeking an experienced Electrical QC Engineer to join a growing Power & Renewables business in Aberdeen.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional with a strong electrical construction or engineering background to take a leading role across major power and electrical infrastructure projects.
The Role
You will provide quality leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-construction and installation through testing, commissioning and final handover.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading quality management across electrical construction projects
- Developing and managing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), checklists and test packs
- Monitoring inspection, testing and verification activities
- Managing quality documentation and project handover requirements
- Tracking defects, snags, NCRs and corrective actions through to closeout
- Supporting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives
- Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Commissioning, Planning, EHS, Procurement and client teams
- Monitoring quality KPIs, dashboards and digital quality systems
- Supporting subcontractor and supply chain quality performance
- Promoting a strong Right First Time culture across projects

Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality Management / Quality Control within engineering and construction
- Proven experience delivering complex electrical construction projects
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and construction quality processes
- Practical experience developing and managing ITPs, checklists and test packs
- ISO 9001 Auditor certification with practical auditing experience
- Experience leading Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions
- Strong understanding of relevant electrical and construction standards
- Excellent organisational, planning and document management skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams

- Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360
- Power BI and digital quality reporting
