Electrical Service Engineer

Location

Heysham Power Station (primary location)

What will you be doing?

  • Carrying out routine maintenance tasks such as site surveys, technical audits, system health checks, spares management, obsolescence reporting, disaster recovery work, and system upgrades/patching
  • Helping customers fault-find and resolve issues by phone, web, or email, and attending site for emergency repairs where needed, including out-of-hours work on a rota basis
  • Completing service reports and other project documentation as required

Where you'll be doing it?

  • You'll be joining a business with decades of experience in advanced system integration, working across some of the UK's most highly regulated and technically demanding industrial environments, including energy, water, renewables, and manufacturing.
  • You'll be part of a team supporting a range of clients, with work varying between small projects, maintenance, and reactive support.

What you'll need:

  • A good electrical engineering background
  • Current driving licence
  • PLC/RTU or similar control systems experience (desirable)
  • Ability to gain SC clearance
  • Good communicator, well organized, and able to work well under pressure and to deadlines
  • Willingness to attend customer sites individually and as part of a team
  • Willingness to undertake out-of-hours work on a rota basis
