We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Shift Engineer
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Shift Engineer to join a highly regarded facilities management team working on a prestigious site in the City of London.

The Role
As an Electrical Maintenance Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of electrical building services, ensuring all systems are maintained to a high standard and the site remains safe, compliant, and operational.
You will work as part of a professional engineering team on a continental shift pattern, covering both days and nights.

Shift Pattern
- 7am – 7pm
- 7pm – 7am
- Continental shift rotation
- 20 days' shift leave
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently and safely.
- Maintain and repair electrical building services and associated equipment.
- Respond to breakdowns and ensure minimal disruption to site operations.
- Complete maintenance records, documentation, and reports accurately.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with current Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Liaise with contractors, clients, and other engineering disciplines where required.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- A recognised Electrical qualification, such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
- Previous experience within a commercial building services / facilities maintenance environment.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems and building services.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a shift-based engineering team.
- A professional approach with excellent communication skills.
