Electrical Site Supervisor - Solar PV Project
We are recruiting for a contract Electrical Site Supervisor to support the delivery of a utility scale Solar PV project based at Leicester. This is a great opportunity to join a high profile renewable energy development and play a key role in ensuring safe, compliant, and high quality project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor construction progress against programme and provide regular progress updates.
- Verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, approved procedures and RAMS.
- Assess quality of works against approved ITPs and inspection records.
- Review contractor documentation including RAMS, Traffic Management Plans and Construction Management Plans.
- Support the Project Manager in the administration of EPC and ICP contract obligations.
- Prepare weekly site supervision reports covering progress, HSE statistics, labour and plant utilisation.
- Conduct H&S audits, observations, and support CDM compliance activities.
- Identify, log, and manage non-conformities (NCRs).
- Carry out snagging inspections and oversee resolution of defects.
- Monitor electrical commissioning and grid connection activities.
- Support milestone verification and project acceptance activities.
- Liaise with contractors, project stakeholders, and environmental representatives.

Requirements
- Electrical Engineering qualification.
- Minimum 3 years' relevant site based experience.
- Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and construction health & safety requirements.
- Experience supervising electrical installation activities within infrastructure, renewables, or energy projects.
- Solar PV project experience highly desirable, including:
- PV module installation
- MV stations
- Cable installation and testing
- Grid connection works
- Electrical commissioning
- SMSTS, NEC4 Supervision Accreditation, or similar qualification.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

- 40-hour working week.
