Job title: Electrical Subcontractors – Kitchens & Bathrooms (Individuals or Teams)
Job type: Contract / Subcontract (self-employed, CIS)
Location: Birmingham and surrounding areas
About us
Multiclad is a growing, NICEIC-registered contractor. We're expanding our kitchen and bathroom work and are looking for reliable electrical subcontractors to join us on an ongoing basis. We'd prefer a team, but we'd also like to hear from strong individuals.
The work
- First and second fix electrics for domestic kitchen and bathroom refits
- New circuits, alterations and additions, including special locations such as bathrooms and shower rooms
- Inspection and testing on completion, with accurate certification (EIC / Minor Works)
- Working alongside other trades to keep jobs on programme
- Leaving sites clean, safe and customer-ready

Essential
- Qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition (BS 7671)
- C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing, or 2394/2395. For teams, at least one member must hold this
- ECS Gold Card, or a valid CSCS / health and safety card
- Experience in domestic refits, ideally kitchens and bathrooms
- Own tools, including a calibrated multifunction tester
- Own transport
- Public liability insurance
- Registered self-employed or limited company (CIS / UTR)
Nice to have
- An established team with an Approved Electrician / tester
- AM2 / AM2S
- Experience working under an NICEIC or other competent person scheme
- Experience with solar, battery storage or heat pumps, as we have work across these too
