Role Description
The Electrical Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role. This position oversees the electrical aspects of solar installation and maintenance projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Day-to-day tasks include:

- Supervising electrical technicians
- Planning and coordinating electrical work schedules
- Inspecting and testing electrical systems and equipment
- Troubleshooting technical issues on-site
The Electrical Supervisor collaborates with project managers and other team members to meet project deadlines, maintain documentation, and uphold quality and safety procedures. The role also involves:
- Mentoring team members
- Promoting best practices
- Supporting continuous improvement in electrical operations
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
- Proficiency in electrical maintenance and working with electrical equipment in an installation and service environment.
- Solid understanding of electricity principles and practical application in solar and general electrical systems.
- Background in electrical engineering or equivalent technical experience relevant to renewable energy projects.
- Relevant electrical qualifications or certifications (e.g., licensed electrician or equivalent), with knowledge of local electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, technical documentation, and manufacturer specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safe work practices.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Experience in solar or renewable energy installations is an advantage.
