Astute's Power Team Recruitment for Electrical Supervisor

Astute's Power Team is partnering with a well-established independent connections provider with a commitment to professional development and sustainability, to recruit an Electrical Supervisor to support around the Greater London area.

The Site Supervisor role comes with a salary of £45,000 - £50,000 + company vehicle, fuel card, regular overtime, an annual bonus, 30 days holiday including shutdown days & private healthcare after 6 months.

Responsibilities and duties of the Electrical Supervisor role

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will:

  • Support Project Managers to plan and deploy resources for electrical installation works.
  • Manage the daily planners for Electrical Installers.
  • Produce take-off sheets from designs and procure all relevant electrical installation materials.
  • Ensure all installations are compliant with BS7671, using your expertise alongside company systems and processes to manage quality.
  • Compile, review, and challenge site-specific RAMS and Programmes of Work.
  • Carry out Health & Safety Audits and Toolbox Talks with installers on site.
  • Prepare, review, and sign off electrical installation certificates in line with NICEIC or equivalent standards.
  • Assist Project Managers in compiling all required handover documentation for each project.
  • Any other reasonable request aligned with this role as directed by the Operations Manager.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • NVQ Level 3 electrotechnical qualification
  • 18th edition wiring regulations certified
  • 2391-52 or equivalent inspection and testing
  • SSSTS or SMSTS is ideal but not necessary
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
