We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a project in Monk Fryston Substation, starting 17 August 2026.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical works on site, coordinating a team of multi-skilled operatives and subcontractors, and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with the project programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily works on site.
  • Work effectively with a team of multi-skilled operatives.
  • Coordinate works in line with the project programme and agreed deadlines.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors and their daily activities.
  • Allocate daily tasks and complete allocation sheets.
  • Complete POWRA and all relevant site paperwork and documentation.
  • Ensure works are carried out safely and to the required standards.
  • Monitor progress and communicate any issues or delays to the site management team.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality throughout the project.
  • Liaise with site management, operatives and subcontractors to ensure effective delivery of the works.

  • Proven experience working as an Electrical Supervisor / Site Supervisor.
  • SMSTS qualification.
  • NVQ Level 3 minimum.
  • Occupational Works Supervisor qualification.
  • Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements.
  • Experience supervising multi-skilled teams and subcontractors.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate works effectively against a programme.
  • Ability to complete site documentation, including allocation sheets, POWRA and relevant paperwork.
