About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical System Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. Your role will focus on designing, optimizing, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems for data centre facilities—crucial to the Group’s mission-critical operations.

This position requires a strong proficiency in electrical system design, expertise in UPS/Generator systems, and a deep understanding of data centre requirements to meet ** Industiral standards and compliance**.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, development, and optimization of electrical systems for data centre environments, ensuring adherence to performance, reliability, efficiency standards, as well as building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Select and specify electrical equipment (e.g., Generators, UPS, Transformers, Rectifiers) and systems for electrical distribution—aligning with data centre specifications and requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to refine electrical system designs through detailed engineering calculations and validation processes.
  • Work closely with project teams, consultants, and vendors to review technical accuracy and achieve desired technical outcomes.
  • Prepare tenders and technical specifications for equipment procurement and perform technical evaluations of vendor submissions.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
  • 2–5 years of experience in electrical system design for mission-critical infrastructure or data centre facilities.
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, project teams, and external consultants across various hierarchical levels.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and codes (e.g., globally-recognized data centre design practices).
  • Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Visio (or other relevant diagramming tools).
