Weapon System Electrical Integration Architect

Bristol

Hybrid Working (2-3 Days Onsite)

Are you an Electrical Systems Engineer, Integration Engineer, Electrical Architect or Systems Engineer looking to work on one of the UK's most exciting next-generation defence programmes?

We are seeking a Weapon System Electrical Integration Architect to play a pivotal role in the integration of complex electrical equipment into a highly advanced weapon system. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, bringing together electrical architecture, system integration, supplier management and technical leadership to deliver a critical defence capability.

The Role

As the technical authority for electrical interfaces across the programme, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful integration of electrical equipment, subsystems and suppliers into the wider weapon system architecture.

This is not a detailed circuit design role. Instead, you will own the bigger picture, translating system requirements into clear electrical expectations, driving supplier delivery, managing technical risks and ensuring the overall system performs as intended.

Working across multiple engineering disciplines, you will influence technical direction and play a key role from requirements definition through to system acceptance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
