Electrical Technical Lead
📍 UK / Europe – Flexible Hybrid
💷 Up to £100,000 / €115,000 package
⚡ Mission-Critical Infrastructure
Strong on MV/LV, UPS, STS and resilient power systems inside critical facilities? This is a senior technical role where you’ll review, challenge and improve designs rather than sit buried in modelling work.
You’ll act as the electrical technical authority across internal distribution and building systems, working with consultants, vendors and contractors on complex mission-critical projects.
What you’ll do
- Review SLDs, design packages, submittals and redlines
- Lead technical reviews of MV/LV distribution systems
- Assess UPS, STS, switchgear, transformers and emergency generation
- Challenge vendors and contractors on technical issues
- Resolve RFIs, design conflicts and engineering queries
- Review FAT documentation and technical compliance
- Support building services including lighting, earthing, containment and power distribution
- Ensure systems are safe, maintainable and operationally resilient

What we’re looking for
- 7+ years’ electrical engineering experience
- Strong facility-side MV/LV distribution experience
- Good knowledge of UPS, STS, dual-feed systems and generators
- Strong experience reviewing contractor and vendor designs
- Knowledge of BS 7671 and relevant IEC / EN standards
- Background in data centres, critical facilities or similarly complex environments
- Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- CEng desirable

You’ll need to be confident, friendly and dynamic — someone comfortable challenging designs, influencing stakeholders and working directly with consultants, contractors and clients.
