Electrical Technician - Further Education Workshops
Location: Southall
Hours: Full-Time, 36 hours per week
Contract: Ongoing Temporary Assignment (reviewed termly)
Pay Rate: £26.48 per hour
We are currently seeking an Electrical Technician to join a busy and dynamic Electrical department at a Further Education college in Southall.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong electrical industry knowledge who enjoys supporting practical learning environments and helping students develop their hands-on skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining electrical workshops and ensuring a safe learning environment
- Managing and replenishing workshop stock and materials
- Preparing equipment and resources for practical sessions
- Providing support during practical electrical classes when required
- Assisting lecturers and students within the workshop environment

Essential Requirements
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (essential)
- Candidates with 17th Edition may also be considered
- Strong understanding of electrical installation practices
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Desirable
- Previous experience working as an Electrical Technician, Workshop Technician, or in a similar role within education or industry
- Experience supporting practical training environments
