Electrical Technician

Location: London (201 Bishopsgate, Broadgate Estate)
Position: Permanent - Full Time
Compensation: Competitive + Flexible Benefits

Summary

We're looking for a qualified Electrical Technician to join our team at the prestigious Broadgate Estate Portfolio, based at 201 Bishopsgate, London. In this role, you'll provide planned and reactive electrical maintenance across landlord areas, with some support to tenant spaces, ensuring building services and electrical systems remain safe, reliable, and operating efficiently. Working within a high-profile commercial environment, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional service standards while supporting the day-to-day operation of critical building infrastructure.

Key Deliverables

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical plant and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults, ensuring systems are returned to service safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain electrical systems, control panels, actuators, and associated building services equipment.
  • Support minor installation works and electrical improvements across the estate.
  • Complete accurate maintenance records and provide clear reports on works undertaken.
  • Assist with the management and supervision of specialist contractors when required.
  • Deliver a high standard of service while maintaining a safe, reliable, and well-presented working environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Level 3 City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent electrical qualification.
  • Experience working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Technician within a commercial building environment.
  • Strong electrical fault-finding, diagnostic, and repair skills.
  • Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, controls, and associated building services plant.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Working Hours

This position operates on a rotating daytime shift pattern:

  • 7:00am - 4:00pm
  • 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • 10:00am - 7:00pm
