Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Gainsborough
Salary: Up to £46,000
Shift: Monday to Friday - 7:30am to 4:00pm
Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
An exciting opportunity has opened for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a heavy industrial, high-volume manufacturing site. This is a days-based position focused on maximising plant availability through electrical maintenance, controls fault-finding and improvement work.
You will carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, support the shift engineering teams with complex faults and complete electrical installations, upgrades and projects across the site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
- Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification.
- Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with three-phase systems, drives and electrical control circuits.

Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
- Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across plant equipment.
- Hardware and PLC fault-finding to maximise equipment uptime.
- Reading electrical drawings, technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Completing electrical installations, upgrades and improvement projects.
- Supporting shift engineers with equipment breakdowns and technical issues.
- Recording maintenance activity and spare-parts usage through a CMMS.
Desirable Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
- PLC fault-finding or programming experience.
- Experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi or Pilz control systems.
- HNC in Electrical Engineering.
- SAP CMMS experience.
- MEWP or confined-space training.
