Job Title: Electrical Technician - Van Conversions

Location: Hixon, Staffordshire

Pay Rate: £19.80/hr (Day Rate) + Shift & Weekend Premiums after 40 hours

Contract Type: Ongoing Contract (Outside IR35 - Limited Company or Umbrella)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Possible overtime available)

About E-ppl

E-ppl is a leading supplier of Managed Services within the automotive industry, working directly with major OEMs across the UK and internationally.

We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Electrical Technicians to support our key automotive customer in Hixon, Staffordshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete electrical installations on light commercial vehicles (LCVs), including lights, lamps, and beacons
  • Fit and test reversing sensors, cameras, and alarms
  • Wire and install towbar electrics
  • Fit, route, and install complex wiring looms
  • Perform electrical circuit modifications, loom building, and custom integration
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical faults
  • Carefully remove and refit vehicle interior trim and external components

Requirements

  • Proven experience in electrics, vehicle electrical fitting, or van conversions
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and to high OEM standards
  • Must possess your own auto-electrical toolkit, including:
    • Multimeter
    • Comprehensive crimping toolset
    • Socket set
    • VDE/Electrical screwdrivers
    • Trim removal tools
