A Leading Facilities Management Provider is Seeking an Electrical Technician
A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking an Electrical Technician to join its team at a static site in Greater Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a standalone role, supporting the day-to-day delivery of planned and reactive maintenance while ensuring compliance across a busy operational environment.

The Role
As the Electrical Technician, you'll:
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance with an electrical bias.
- Carry out fault finding, testing, inspection, and minor electrical installation works in line with BS7671.
- Complete basic multi-skilled maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, and building fabric repairs.
- Supervise contractors, manage permits to work, and ensure RAMS and health & safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate records using the CAFM system, including compliance documentation and maintenance reports.
- Support KPI reporting, audits, and statutory compliance activities.
- Carry out PAT testing, electrical isolations, and ensure compliance with Electricity at Work Regulations.

You
To be successful in the role of Electrical Technician, you'll bring:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
- Current BS7671 Wiring Regulations qualification.
- City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection & Testing.
- Experience within Facilities Management, Building Maintenance, or a similar environment.
- Strong fault-finding and electrical maintenance experience.
- The ability to carry out basic plumbing, HVAC, and fabric maintenance tasks.
- Good IT skills with experience using CAFM systems or maintenance software.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
Desirable:
- PAT Testing qualification (C&G 2377).
- Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of permits to work, RAMS, and compliance processes.
- First Aid, IPAF, or Fire Safety qualifications.
