About the Role

We are seeking two Electrical Technicians to join a well-established Manufacturer in Collumpton. As an Electrical Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping site operations running safely and efficiently. Working as part of a skilled engineering team and reporting to the Electrical Manager, you'll be responsible for completing all Electrical tasks on site including fault finding, PPM, TPM and reactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responding to electrical breakdowns and carrying out fault finding
  • Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Supporting production improvement initiatives
  • Performing day-to-day site maintenance
  • Carrying out both Electrical and Instrumentation engineering tasks
  • Working on three phase systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and Analogue Current Loops

Experience, Skills and Candidate Attributes Required

Essential:

  • A HNC, ONC, HND or 18th Edition qualification. In the absence of these qualifications, a time served Electrical Engineer or Technician may also be considered.
  • Experience working as an Electrical Engineer or Electrical Technician gained from within a Manufacturing Environment.
  • Knowledge of three phases systems, hydraulic / pneumatic systems & analogue current loops.
  • Strong fault-finding knowledge on electrical equipment.
  • The ability to work on your own or as part of a wider team.

Desirable:

  • Understanding of PLC or DCS systems is highly desirable but not essential.

These roles are Day Shift roles of Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30. Successful candidates will also be required to be on a call out / weekend rota (1 weekend in 4).
